Description "Testomat 2000® CrVI (Standard)"
Testomat 2000 CrVI (Standard) – Reliable Monitoring of Chromate and CrVI
Reliable control of Chromate and Chromium VI in process water with the T 2000 from Heyl
The Testomat 2000 CrVI (Standard) is an online analysis device for monitoring Chromate (CrO42-) concentrations from 0 to 2.0 mg/l or Chromium VI (CrVI) concentrations from 0 to 1.0 mg/l. It uses a photometric analysis method with automatic reagent addition and delivers results after a short reaction time directly for process control.
The device operates with a photometric measurement principle, where two reagents are automatically dosed. After approximately two minutes of reaction time, the measurement results are available. Two independently programmable limit contacts allow direct integration into monitoring or control systems.
Technical Features of the Testomat 2000 CrVI
The photometric measurement principle combined with automated reagent addition distinguishes the Testomat 2000 CrVI. This allows reliable measurement of Chromate and CrVI. Measurement data can also be logged via optional interfaces. The clear-text menu simplifies configuration and operation.
Typical Applications of the T 2000 CrVI
- Monitoring chromate content in wastewater from electroplating facilities
- Control of wastewater in the metalworking industry
Why is Monitoring Chromate and Chromium VI Important?
Chromium VI is highly toxic and subject to strict legal limits. Continuous monitoring of Chromate and CrVI allows early detection of limit exceedances, protects humans and the environment, and ensures compliance with environmental regulations in process and wastewater systems.
